Andrzej Górski (Polish Academy of Sciences) and colleagues published a new perspective in Future Medicine discussing phages in the fight against COVID-19. They describe research done in the last 15 years pointing to phage interference with eukaryotic viruses, and suggest that repurposing phage therapy as an adjunct therapy for viral infections may be warranted.
