Armata reports positive topline results from the Phase 1b/2a diSArm trial of intravenous AP-SA02

Armata Pharmaceuticals reported positive topline results from its randomized, placebo-controlled Phase 1b/2a diSArm trial (n=50) of intravenous multi-phage therapeutic AP-SA02 plus best available antibiotic therapy in complicated Staphylococcus aureus bacteremia. The company says AP-SA02 was well tolerated with no serious adverse events related to the study drug, and a statistically significant higher investigator-assessed responder rate at day 12 (88% versus 58% with placebo, p = 0.047).
