Bioinformatics engineer in metagenomics and metatranscriptomics — Abolis Microbiome Studio, Paris

Permanent (CDI) bioinformatics engineer position in the Microbiome Studio business unit of Abolis Biotechnologies in Paris 13, which develops a solution to understand the metabolic pathways of microorganisms for nutrition, health, cosmetics and agriculture. The engineer maintains and extends bioinformatics pipelines for genomic, transcriptomic and metabolic data, works on client analysis projects and helps evolve the platform's architecture. Asks for a Master's-level degree in biology or bioinformatics, 3 to 4 years of experience with metagenomic and metatranscriptomic data (SPAdes, kraken2, Salmon, eggnog-mapper), and Python, Bash, Snakemake, R, SPARQL, Slurm and Git; partial remote work is possible.
