Question for the phage community via Twitter from Alexander Hynes, Assist. Prof. at McMaster University: "I've been seeing more phage characterization papers that "optimize MOI" for higher titres. Why? I don't see biological insight, and while practical, these never seem to optimize any other parameters. Why is this singled out? What's the history I'm missing here?".
