After an announcement last month that Canada would close its phage therapy research program at the National Microbiology Lab in Winnipeg, Michael Parcey and colleagues have announced a ‘stunning reversal’: a set of unexpected, last-minute contract extensions have come through, meaning the team will continue their phage therapy work.
