Cytophage announces phage-based H5N1 vaccine candidates entering preclinical validation
Cytophage Technologies announced the development of a phage-based vaccine for avian influenza (H5N1). Two candidates that use filamentous bacteriophages to display influenza antigens are entering preclinical validation, where a pilot study will assess efficacy, immunogenicity and optimal dosing in small animal models. The company expected to name a laboratory testing partner in spring 2025 and to publish pilot results the following quarter.
