Did you know the CDC and FDA have an Antimicrobial Resistance (AR) Isolate Bank? Researchers can order microbial isolates for free, collected from CDC's surveillance and outbreak activities. These isolates are combined into panels for testing. Since its 2015 launch, the AR Isolate Bank has distributed over 10,000 panels to more than 2,000 institutions.
