Geunsoo Jung, Hyunwoo Zin (Sejong University, Korea) and colleagues published a new paper on characterization of a plasmid-dependent DNA phage, showing it selectively targets E. coli harboring conjugative plasmids and reduces their abundance without disrupting overall gut microbial diversity.
