Master 2 internship in marine viral ecology and bioinformatics — BEEP, Plouzané (France)

Six-month Master 2 internship at the Biologie et Ecologie des Ecosystèmes marins Profonds (BEEP) laboratory in Plouzané on the diversity and temporal dynamics of marine viruses in the Bay of Brest: building the first collection of viral genomes from monthly viromes sampled in 2025-2026, characterising its taxonomic and functional diversity and tracking viral population dynamics against environmental parameters. Requires bioinformatics and microbiology knowledge and Unix skills; starts January 11, 2027; send CV and application letter by December 7, 2026.
