Microbiologist / Molecular Biologist

Leonyte Biosystems is a fast-paced biotechnology start-up in Berlin, developing new in vitro diagnostics for detecting pathogens in food. We are looking to grow our team with a Microbiologist with strong experience in molecular biology to assist in the development of bacterial detection and identification tests for the food industry. The successful applicant will have experience in S2 bacterial culturing techniques, working with bacteriophage, general molecular biology techniques (e.g. real-time PCR, ELISA, cloning) as well as microscopy techniques (e.g. Gram-staining, DAPI staining, use of confocal fluorescence microscope). Previous experience within the food industry and in vitro diagnostics is a plus.
