Phage PASA16 compassionate-use case series in 16 patients with refractory Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections

A case series from the Israeli Phage Therapy Center describes phage PASA16, provided pro bono by Adaptive Phage Therapeutics, given intravenously, locally or topically with antibiotics to 16 patients with non-resolving Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections (data for 15), mainly osteoarticular and foreign-device-associated. A few minor side effects were noted and a good clinical outcome was documented in 13 of 15 patients (86.6%).
