PhalconBio secures £1 million PACE grant for engineered phage therapies

PhalconBio, a Swiss biotech with an engineered-phage platform, has secured £1 million of grant funding from PACE (Pathways to Antimicrobial Clinical Efficacy) to advance its lead anti-Pseudomonas programme. PACE named PhalconBio among the awardees of its £10m antimicrobial therapeutics funding call, supporting engineered phage therapies against lower respiratory tract infections caused by multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
