Plaza Feed & Crop Nutrition and Intralytix launch a phage kit for livestock production

Plaza Feed & Crop Nutrition has an exclusive agreement with Intralytix to use its bacteriophage products in phage kits for livestock production, pairing phages grouped to target E. coli, Salmonella and Listeria with Plaza's Cecabiotics probiotic. The companies say the phages attack target pathogens rapidly while the probiotic fills the gap and suppresses further growth through competitive exclusion.
