Rational design of Entelli-02, a hospital-specific phage cocktail for Enterobacter cloacae complex infections (Nature Microbiology)

Entelli-02 is a five-phage cocktail built from The Alfred Hospital's decade-long isolate collection against multidrug-resistant Enterobacter cloacae complex; it covers 88% of the hospital's 206 isolates and reduced bacterial load in septicaemic mice by more than 99%. It was produced as a therapeutic-grade product ready for clinical use (Subedi et al., Nature Microbiology).
