Self-funded PhD project in the University of Manchester's Division of Pharmacy and Optometry (Dr Alain Pluen, Prof Andrew McBain, Dr Robin Curtis, Dr Claudia Igler) to characterise sewage-derived phages, formulate single phages and cocktails and test their stability and antibacterial efficacy under accelerated and real-time storage conditions. Applications are accepted all year round; the project is open to self-funded students only.
