SNIPR announces published single-patient expanded-access report of SNIPR001

A peer-reviewed expanded-access case report in Clinical Infectious Diseases describes investigational SNIPR001 use in a kidney transplant recipient with progressive multidrug-resistant Escherichia coli malakoplakia, under a single-patient emergency investigational new drug application. The patient received intravenous, topical and intralesional SNIPR001 alongside standard-of-care therapy. The report associated treatment with healing and a reduction in the malakoplakia mass from 745 cm³ to 82 cm³ at one year.
