SynPhONY: ODIN-funded collaborative project to develop phage-based therapies for chronic wound and urinary tract infections
An ODIN-funded collaborative project led by Professor Hanne Ingmer (University of Copenhagen) brings academic and industry partners together to develop next-generation tools for phage-based therapies against chronic wound and urinary tract infections. reNEW will build scalable human skin and bladder infection models to test selected phages, and pre-trained AI tools will help predict the most promising phages and build a clinically relevant phage library. Partners include Aarhus University, Hospital Amager & Hvidovre, Coloplast, Invitris, Inicure, LABOKLIN and Phagos.
