The programme supports research capacity and German-laboratory collaborations in selected Middle Eastern and North African countries, including biotechnology, AI and health research. PhD investigators need an eligible-country appointment and German collaboration letter; age and concurrent-grant restrictions apply. The extended deadline was June 18, 2026, at 23:59 CEST.
