Katrina Black (Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, Australia) and colleagues published a new paper on resolving a T1-like bacteriophage outbreak, showing how targeted deletion of an LptD loop conferred resistance to the phage without compromising E. coli growth or protein expression.
