Chao Liu (Chinese Academy of Sciences) and colleagues published a new paper on phage CRISPR-like regulatory RNAs silencing bacterial immunity, showing how phages use crlRNA mimics to hijack host CRISPR-Cas and abortive infection defenses in P. aeruginosa.
