Access and enquiries

How to enquireTreating physician emails ipath@health.ucsd.edu with clinical case and signed authorization to share information. A bacterial culture is required. External patients need a local physician; IPATH cannot provide physician referrals or take over outside care.
Areas of workCompassionate-use support for serious resistant or device-associated bacterial infections; prioritizes life/limb-threatening cases, complicated UTIs, transplant and implant-associated infections. Matching, clinical review, supply and regulatory authorization remain necessary.
International accessOfficial FAQ explicitly allows consultation with physicians abroad; local treatment authorization and actual international patient acceptance are not guaranteed.

What to confirm

  • No promise of a matching phage, acceptance, referral, travel treatment or transfer of care. A planned trial is not an intake route.
